This child resistant tin box was first molded and mass-produced in 2019, intended for holding gummy candies. Its internal dimensions were designed to accommodate six candies, and its attractive appearance and robust child-proof lock mechanism made it one of the most popular child-resistant tin cans at the time. In 2023, the tin box underwent a sealing upgrade, allowing it to be made of ordinary tinplate. However, its overly complex sealing structure kept costs high. In 2025, the child-proof lock tin can underwent a structural upgrade, ensuring 100% sealing while reducing costs.

The biggest advantage of this tin box is its stable structure and high market acceptance. However, the side where the child resistant lock is located is too long, making the pressing part prone to deformation. To address this issue, CR Tin thickened its material, reducing deformation, and updated the mold, allowing the pressing part to spring back. This has made this child-proof lock tin box one of the most popular child resistant tin cans on the market.
Custom Printing
This child-proof tin can requires additional treatment for its rounded corners due to its stretching process. For example, imported black ink is needed to reduce the defect rate of exposed white areas during stretching on a black background. This tin box uses a full-page white coating matte varnish process with a completely black background; even with imported ink, exposed white areas are still unavoidable in the rounded corners.
Various Usage
The internal dimensions are 4.56" x 2.05" and it comes with chocolate wrapper for holding six gummies. Compared to the original child-proof locked tin boxes, the upgraded airtight tin container is more popular. In addition to gummies, it can also hold six 1-gram pre-rolls and a box of matches, but it is practically only available with a blister pack.
